Happy Friday Purpose in Motion Fam

Every week, I write this newsletter with one goal:

To remind you (and myself) of what really matters. Not the noise, not the distractions, but the truths we often forget.

This week, that truth is simple: when the lights go out, all we carry with us are the experiences we lived and the relationships we built.

The Illusion of Success

We all chase things in life.
The job. The car. The paycheck.

But in 100 years? None of it will matter.
Nobody will remember the number in your bank account, or what model you drove off the lot.

What Truly Lasts

What they will remember is

  • How you treated them.

  • How you made them feel.

  • The impact you had.

When we’re on our deathbeds, we won’t be asking about our résumés or the shiny things we owned.
We’ll be asking:

  • Did I live?

  • Did I love?

  • Did I matter?

The Little Things Aren’t Little

The truth is, the “little things” we often undervalue aren’t little at all. They’re everything.

The late-night talks with friends.
The trips that turned into stories you’ll tell forever.
The small acts of kindness that changed someone’s day.

Investments That Appreciate

I’m not saying you should drain your savings and backpack across Europe (though, honestly, maybe you should). But I am saying this:

Invest in experiences. Invest in relationships. Those are the only assets that appreciate with time.

Some Wise Person

The Question That Matters

Because when all is said and done, that’s all we really walk away with.

So here’s my question for you:
👉 What’s the memory you’ll still cherish 50 years from now?
