Facing Fear and Overcoming Obstacles
Happy Motion Monday Fam! 🌟
Today, let’s talk about fear. It’s something we all feel but rarely stop to understand. Fear isn’t the enemy—it’s a guide, a signal of where we need to grow. I’ve recently been readying “The Mountain Is You” by Brianna Wiest, which is what inspired today’s email.
“What you believe about your life is what you will make true about your life.”
As a matter of fact, I chose to start this newsletter as a way to confront my own fear.
Putting myself out there and sharing my thoughts isn’t always comfortable, but I realized that growth happens outside of comfort zones.
By posting more, I’m challenging myself to embrace vulnerability and stay committed to getting 1% better every day.
Fear inspired this journey—and I’m grateful for it.

Fear often holds us back because it disguises itself as comfort. But here’s the secret: it’s also the key to your greatest transformation.
Let’s reframe our struggles as challenges. As Myron Golden says:
“You will never face an obstacle that’s bigger than you, only obstacles that you THINK are bigger than you.”
Fear isn’t as powerful as it seems—it’s just a story we tell ourselves. And when we confront it, we often find it’s smaller than we imagined.

Here’s how I’m tackling fear this week:
When fear shows up, I’ll pause and ask: What is this fear trying to teach me?
I’ll view every obstacle as a stepping stone, not a roadblock.
I’ll celebrate small wins and remember that progress—no matter how small—is still progress.
This week, challenge yourself to lean into fear. Instead of avoiding it, embrace it. Growth is on the other side.
Remember: you’re stronger than any fear you face. Let’s make it a fearless week. 💪
